Joshua DeLong, son of Bill and Karla Delong, Adena, placed 3rd in the Buckeye Local District Spelling bee held Jan. 17th . Joshua placed out of 30 students from grades 5-8 and will now advance to the County bee scheduled to be held on March 8th at the Jefferson Community College in Steubenville.

Promiseland Preschool is a Christian preschool dedicated to preparing children ages 3-5 for kindergarten. In addition to developing early reading, writing and math skills, monthly field trips are planned to provide a learning experience outside of the classroom. Children can enroll at any time during the year, with need-based scholarships available for those who qualify.

Tuition is $50 a month for the Pre-kindergarten class and $40 for the Beginner class. We currently have space available in the Beginner class (3-4 year olds) and we will hold an Open House in April to enroll students for the 2008-2009 school year.
